Any news when it will be available? I’m interested in getting a copy. Thanks.

      Hello Andrew
We spent longer than we expected to formatting and tidying up, but that exercise finally came to an end earlier this week. The book is now in the hands of the printer, and should be available in 2-3 weeks.

      Thanks for being patient.

By the way, please don’t expect the book to replace the help system, it’s not a reference manual for PD. It would have to be 2,000 pages long to do that!

Thanks, George. Will you post here when it is released? And also where we will be able to buy the book, too, please. Being a newcomer to PD I’m hoping it will give me background and allow me to make better choices in how to implement. I have the manuals but they don’t give me the view I need.

You’re right about the manuals – they contain a huge amount of information, but there’s no narrative or flow. The cheapest place to buy the book initially will be the publisher’s web site – you can save 20% on the USD 79.95 list price if you pre-order at http://www.technicspub.com/product.sc?productId=29&categoryId=1 – using code PD20Promo at the checkout.
International delivery ranges from $10 to $25 dependent on your location; I don’t know if Canada counts as ‘international’, though.

It’s currently £56.94 on amazon.co.uk, full price on amazon.com, and unpriced on amazon.ca.
